KATHMANDU, NEPAL – January 29, 2026 – The Nepal Code Initiative (NCI), a leader in fostering Nepal's next generation of technological talent, has successfully concluded a landmark three-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence. The event, held from January 26 to January 28, 2026, at the esteemed Greenland Boarding High School, provided over 300 students with a sophisticated framework for integrating AI into their academic workflows.
This specialized workshop was designed to move beyond foundational coding and immerse students in one of the most transformative technologies of our time. The curriculum focused on the practical and ethical applications of AI in an educational context. Key modules included an introduction to the principles of machine learning, strategies for leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for research and analysis, and a critical examination of responsible AI use and digital citizenship.
The engagement was structured to be highly interactive, challenging students to apply AI-powered tools to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and academic projects. This initiative underscores NCI’s commitment to equipping students not just with technical skills, but with the critical thinking necessary to navigate and innovate within the evolving digital landscape.
